Lin McDowell is a graduate of the Fowler Wainwright International Institute of Professional Coaching. She has received additional training in how to enhance individual performance in the workplace, and has developed and facilitated a stress reduction workshop at a local university. Lin has also been trained in both Transcendental Meditation and Primordial Sound Meditation, and incorporates meditation into the life coaching process when desired.
Lin brings a wealth of experience to her life coaching practice. Lin was the original editor of the best-selling book, The Practicing Mind: Developing Focus and Discipline In Your Life, by Thomas M. Sterner. She has also worked in the human resources field, in addition to working as a trained mediator. As a life coach, Lin draws from all of these experiences, utilizing conflict management, creative problem-solving, and communications skills as essential tools in the coaching process.
Through insightful questioning and active listening, Lin coaches individuals to develop creative, sustainable solutions in their lives.
